Mike Price and his sons Neil and Simon would like to thank everyone for the cards, letters, prayers and support they have received following Jill’s death. They would also like to thank everyone involved in preparing the refreshments following Jill’s funeral last Wednesday.

EASTER OFFERING

Envelopes are still available.  Your donation will help to support mission partners working overseas.  Please place your envelope in the offertory bag or hand to one of the Stewards. You only need to complete the back of the envelope if you wish to gift aid your donation.

MEN’S COFFEE MORNING

The next coffee morning is on Monday, 29th April from 10.30 a.m. in the Hilda Shore Room.  All welcome.

WORKING PARTY AT THE CIRCUIT CENTRE

Volunteers are invited to come and help maintain the Centre for the use of the Circuit on Wednesday, 1st May between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Every little helps – come for an hour or more.  Areas where help is needed include gardening, cataloguing resources, sorting paperwork, cleaning kitchen, making tea/coffee for the volunteers.

CARERS SOUP ‘N’ SUPPORT

The next meeting will be on Thursday, 2nd May from 12 noon until 2 p.m.   The speaker will be from Age UK Wirral giving an overview of their services.  All with current or recent caring experiences are very welcome.

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The next meeting is on Thursday, 9th May at 2.30 p.m. in the Hilda Shore Room when Mike Hall will be sharing with the meeting his enjoyment of photography.

CHARITY FASHION SHOW

Greasby Methodist Church are holding an M&Co charity fashion show on Saturday, 11th May.  Doors open at 6.30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. start. Entrance will be £5 to include refreshments.  There will also be a raffle and cake stall.  Funds raised will go to the MWiB special project run by Barnabas Fund supporting widows and children in Syria.

CIRCUIT EASTER OFFERING SERVICE

A service to dedicate the Easter Offering will be held at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, 12th May at Moreton Methodist Church.  As this is a Circuit Service there will be no evening service here.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

SPECTRUM

The next meeting is on Monday, 13th May at 7.30 p.m. in the Hilda Shore Room.  This will be a games evening so if anyone has a suitable game please bring it along.

SUPPORT FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS

A church based group to support asylum seekers and refugees is starting at the Link Emmanual in Birkenhead.  It is an informal setting to help those in need of English speaking experiences and will be held on Thursdays between 3.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.  If you are interested in knowing more please contact Howie Aziz at Howie.aziz@hotmail.co.uk

LEGO CHURCH

Lego Church will be starting here on Wednesday, 8th May from 3.30 p.m. until 5 p.m.  Please take some flyers for friends or family who have children in primary school age range.  (Younger children can play with Duplo or Mega Bricks).  Please pray for the success of this new venture and that lots of people will come to join in the fun.  Phone Dirk for more information on 625 3224 or 07847 739 533.
