Weekly Notices 1st December 2019

FLOWERS

The flowers this week are kindly given by David & Anne Cross in memory of Tim.

THANK YOU FROM VIV GASTEEEN

My warmest thanks to you all at West Kirby for the wonderful way you made me feel welcome and at home when I came to share with you in worship and service last September.  I have loved being with you in times of both joy and sorrow.  Now it is time for me to move on.  However, I will see you all from time to time.

Rev Yangsun Yi is indeed blessed to be your minister and together you will achieve great things for the Lord.

A special thank you for the lovely afternoon tea and cakes last Monday.  Also the cards, flowers and the most generous gift of a garden voucher.

I will always remember West Kirby with love.  God bless you all.

Viv

CONGRATULATIONS

Valerie Doodson and David Gane would like to thank the Church family for all the good wishes received following their recent engagement.

Looking ahead we are happy to announce that our wedding will take place during the morning service on Sunday, 15th December. Rev George Palmer will be taking the service, assisted by Rev Viv Gasteen as Registrar. Following the service the Church family are invited to join us in the Church Hall for some celebratory cake(s) with the usual tea and/or coffee.  We are looking forward to seeing you there.

CIRCUIT PRAYER DIARY

Copies of the December Prayer Diary are now available in the foyer.

ACTION FOR CHILDREN

Once again we will be thinking about Action for Children and how we continue to support this charity.

From this Sunday there will be a large communal Christmas card in the foyer.  This is for people to send their good wishes to others and by putting the money they saved into the charity box.

We will also be singing carols at Morrison’s Supermarket on Dee Lane on Thursday, 19th December from 6.30 p.m. until around 8 p.m.  Come along and have some fun singing carols and raising money for Action for Children.
