WORLD MISSION FUND

If anyone has a World Mission Fund box can they please hand it to Elaine Phillips so the contents may be counted.  There are also envelopes available if anyone would like to make a gift aided donation.   This Fund supports Mission Partners working overseas, awards grants for many projects and provides scholarships and leadership training.

GOD IN LOVE UNITES US

A reminder to pick up your copy of The Methodist Church’s Report on Marriage & Relationships and the Study Guide.

Sufficient copies of the report and study guide are available in the foyer for everyone to have a copy.  Every church is asked to encourage their congregations to study it and meet together to discuss its contents.

A meeting to share together views and comments will be called in due course. CHURCH VACANCIES

The position of Church Council Secretary will become vacant when Elaine Phillips stands down at the end of August 2020.  Also David Armitage wishes to stand down as Church Treasurer at the same time.

If these positions are not filled then Church Council cannot meet, resulting in problems in the management of the church.

Please speak to Elaine or David if you feel willing and able to take on either of these roles and would like to know more.

Also the position of Property Steward remains vacant following Scarthe’s retirement last year.
