ACTION FOR CHILDREN

Once again we will be thinking about Action for Children and how we continue to support this charity.  There is a large communal Christmas card in the foyer.  This is for people to send their good wishes to others and by putting the money they saved into the charity box.

We will also be singing carols at Morrison’s Supermarket on Dee Lane on Thursday, 19th December from 6.30 p.m. until around 8 p.m.  Come along and have some fun singing carols and raising money for Action for Children.

 CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR

The working group set up by Church Council have now completed the recruitment process and I am delighted to tell you, we have offered Heather Playfer the position and she has accepted. She started work on Monday 18th November.

Heather will share the church office with Dirk, working mornings on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Her family have all been regulars at Bacon Butty, Little Angels, Lego Church and Beavers, assisting also with other church activities.  She will be a considerable ambassador for our church.

As the first point of contact for most church matters, you will be able to reach her either by email at wkmccontact@gmail.com  personally at the office or phone 625 3224 and leave a message if she isn't available.

These are challenging but also exciting times and with our help Heather will play her part in making this new role a great success.
